Elle Word: Growth
Who inspires me:
I am inspired by those who invest in personal growth and healing, are willing to take risks on themselves, live authentically, and positively contribute to their communities. One of those people in my life was my grandmother. At 24 years old, she took a risk and immigrated from Armenia to create a better life for herself and her future family. She embodied community in every sense and cared for others in a way that was genuinely authentic to her values.

Credentials:
Licensed Professional Counselor
Trauma-Informed Care Certified
Specialty:
I specialize in partnering with adults and young adults (ages 18+) who have experienced trauma, as well as other presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, emotion regulation, relationships, stress management, and life transitions. I also have a vested interest in working with individuals who are at an elevated risk of developing cancer. I aspire to create a healing and inclusive environment for people who identify as LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, AAPI, and other diverse cultures.
Approach:
I am dedicated to meeting you where you are without judgment and to building a partnership rooted in trust that allows for exploration, honesty, and growth. With a trauma-informed approach at the forefront, I hold space for all of life's challenges and experiences while remaining empathetic, curious, and bringing in some laughter along the way. We will work collaboratively to identify your therapeutic goals and create a treatment plan that aligns with your life vision. I incorporate modalities of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I also utilize trauma-informed interventions, such as Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Theory (CPT), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET), to support trauma processing.
