Who inspires me:

I am inspired most by the cultures and individuals who live in deep connection with the rhythms of the natural world. Much of my personal power and inspiration stem from a close observation of the seasons, the ebb and flow of plants and animals, and the eternal ongoing cycle of life and death. I believe that it’s essential to develop an awareness of how these occurrences shape our daily lives, as well as cultivate a kinship with the ways in which these realities exist within ourselves.

Credentials:

Prescott College’s Counseling Program with a Somatic Emphasis - class of ‘23
MindBody Therapy Facilitator Training - Embodied Philosophy
Restorative Yoga Teacher Training - Das Atemhaus
Certified Yoga Instructor (CYT) - Loom Yoga
Wild Woman Circle Leader Training - The Wild Woman Project

Specialty:

I work with individuals 18+ seeking to fortify their relationship to their bodies through Restorative & Yin styles of yoga, meditation, and somatic mindfulness. I strive to cultivate a space of belonging for all layers of identity, especially for those who belong to groups such as LGBTQIA2S+; Black, Indigenous, and People of Color; Latinx; American Aisian and Pacific Islanders; as well as the fluid nuance of identity as defined by the individual themselves. I aim to support this claim through consistent efforts of education and action that center around environmental, social, and economic justice.

Approach:

In order to learn how to grow into the strongest version of our future selves, we must first become better acquainted with the version of ourselves we are living in right now. I utilize the physical framework of yoga, guided meditation/visualization, and breathwork, as well as aspects of behavioral and somatic therapies, as a means of guidance that help to develop a personal definition of the self that can be relied on time and time again.
