Who inspires me:

I am inspired by my grandmother who embraced gratitude and found beauty in life, even in the darkest of times. She taught me that we all have the power to find joy and fulfillment in life by choosing to live in full alignment with our own unique values.

Credentials:

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Specialty:

I work with adolescents and adults of all gender expressions who are navigating recovery from eating disorders, anxiety, OCD and depression. I also specialize in supporting those experiencing stress related to relationship struggles, body image and self-esteem concerns, life transitions and health struggles. I specialize in individual, group and family therapy.

Approach:

My approach to therapy is all about keeping it real. I strive to be casual, genuine, and come from a place of empathy. I want you to feel comfortable, safe and supported. You are not just a client or a diagnosis—you are a beautiful physical, spiritual, and emotional being with experiences that have shaped you into who you are. We will work together to get to know you on a deeper level. I will support you to develop more self-compassion and to live authentically, while making the changes you’d like to see in your life. I like to keep things fun, as we may joke around at times, yet also hold space for deep, meaningful conversations. I strive to form a deep connection with you so that you feel supported and comfortable while working through the uncomfortable things in life.

I practice various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a focus on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices. I pride myself in being an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, and my practice is anti-diet and Health at Every Size (HAES) aligned. You are not alone—let’s navigate this together!
